The Bosidin hair removal tool comes in some of the nicest packaging we’ve ever seen. Each part is well packed in its own layer, with little pull tabs to open and well placed graphics throughout. The unit comes with 5 separate lenses. Each with their own specialty. The size of each lens and the contour of the metal bezel is created to help users target specific areas. Each pops on and off easily with the help of magnets. There is a single button at the rear of the handle which allows you to select different modes. Once selected the backlit LED will highlight the mode. The mode pictured and lit up matches the pictures printed on each lens to make it easy to match the mode with the lenses. The front of the handle houses the trigger you’ll use to trigger the light pulse. The unit has to be firmly pressed against the skin to allow the light to be pulsed as a safety measure. Safety is increased by wearing the provided green glasses too. The top of the handle houses a rotary dial with 6 intensity levels. When you turn the unit on the internal fan comes to life letting you know it’s ready. When turned off, the cooling fan reduces in speed and stays on for a minute to preserve the life of the IPL hardware. The instruction manual says to start low and work your way up,.. sighting that intense heat is okay, but pain is not. So you go up until you experience pain, then turn it down one level from there. You’ll find that some areas feel no pain at a level 6, while more sensitive areas like the neck and around the eyes may feel more comfortable around levels 2-3. The 4 IPL, targeted hair removal lenses give off more heat than the IPL skin rejuvenation lens. So areas that hurt at level 6 with the hair removal lenses, will generally just feel intense heat, with no pain when you swap to the skin rejuvenation lens. Whether you’re using the hair removal lenses, or the skin rejuvenation lens, the cooling technology keeps the copper colored metal bezel cool to the touch, when pressed against the skin. You feel an intense blast of heat when you pull the trigger, followed by the sensation of cool metal after. You may have to adjust the intensity level as you move along to different areas to suit the changing sensitivity of your skin as you go along. The unit takes just a second between pulses. So you can’t just pull the trigger repeatedly. You have to pull it, count “one thousand, one” then pull it again. You can set it to automatic mode which will trigger the device each time you move it and press it to your skin, but it still takes just a second to recharge between flashes. According to the manufacturer, they have re-engineered the unit to have a virtually unlimited number of flashes,.. whereas older units may have been limited to 200,000 flashes or so,.. this one should keep flashing almost forever! The process of IPL hair removal takes several weeks because the hair follicles go through a variety of stages during natural growth,.. and the IPL process works best at specific stages of growth. So you will need to use the unit 1-2 times a week for several weeks before seeing satisfactory results. The instruction manual and online troubleshooting mentions that certain skin types and hair/skin, color combinations make IPL laser hair removal difficult because the IPL device can’t target the hair effectively. Light hair is difficult to remove as well as dark hair on dark skin. Another thing to keep in mind is that this unit shouldn’t be used over existing tattoos as it can damage the skin and fade or scar the tattoo. This unit isn’t the same as tattoo removal lasers and can lead to burns or scarring if used repeatedly over tattoos. All in all this unit is well made. The packaging, instructions and end user experience is very well done. Bosidin has created an easy to use at home device. The skin rejuvenation setting and lens does appear to stimulate collagen and reduce minor fine lines when used 1-2 times a week. As far as hair removal, this can take time. After using the device 2 times a week for several weeks, we have yet to see a reduction in hair growth. We will continue to use it and update the review accordingly. The user’s manual does state that it works better for some skin/hair types than others, so this may have something to do with it. As a point of reference, our hair/skin type is olive/copper skin with dark hair. We’re going to keep using it to find out if it will work, but so far we aren’t seeing results in the hair removal department. If you’re on the fence, thinking will this work for me? Bosidin offers a 1 year warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee. When you register your device online,.. Bosidin will extend the money back guarantee period to 180 days, and the warranty to 2 years. That way, you have plenty of time to evaluate the device, and a 2 year warranty backing up the hardware. We included a picture of the included warranty card for you to see. Because IPL hair removal doesn’t work for all skin/hair types, Bosidin can’t guarantee it will work for everyone,.. but they did the next best thing by extending the warranty period and giving you 180 days to try it for yourself. Which is about as much as a person can ask of an electronic consumer device. It’s a pretty fair deal in our book.

This takes forever to work, but actually does eventually stop the hair. You have to commit way more time to this than just using a razer, but if the results end up being even semi permanent I suppose it is worth it.Quality is good. It is easy to operate and seems to be of good quality.

This laser hair remover has worked for me so far! I started with just a small area to make sure that my skin wasn’t too sensitive for it. I did it on the bikini setting and with that attachment as well on my toes. I am on week six and so far my hairs have grown far less and not as thick. It is very easy to use and to make the adjustments that you want. It is completely painless and cools the sections right away. It also comes with clear and simple instructions. I was skeptical at first, but the laser does cause the hair follicles to be dormant and therefore needing to shave less and worry less about those pesky hairs! The more you practice the faster each session gets. The box and packaging was really nice and kept mine in perfect condition. It did come with a razor and the protective eyewear. The glasses do protect your eyes from the laser flashes and help you see what you are doing in a safe way. So the bosidin is a safe way for you to laser hair remove all by yourself!

I’ve never used a hair removal device like this before, so I don’t really have anything to compare it with. However, this has some interesting features that I like. First, I think the handle is comfortable to grip, and I like that the head swivels. These features make this unit fairly easy to come at each area from different angles. However, I’m not wild about how bulky the unit is, especially the part that comes into contact with the skin. For large surface areas, it’s perfect, but for getting into smaller areas or tighter areas, such as the upper lip and the inner thigh, the size is annoying.I like that this comes with several detachable heads meant for specific areas on the body. The heads each have a picture on them, which is nice because it’s nearly impossible to tell one from the others based solely on the picture in the manual. I also like that there is an intensity knob. I know there are units out there that are supposed to adjust automatically, but I imagine those could be problematic when it comes to skin with lots of freckles and moles given that you could have a mix of light spots and dark spots in the same area. My skin, for example, is very fair, but I’m covered in brown dots of varying sizes and shades of color. Having a manual control for the intensity should make it easier for me to dial in the right amount.Included with the device is a pair of safety glasses. They were able to fit my large head, though I could not fit them over my glasses, so I had to take my glasses off to use. They also included a shaver, which is a nice bonus given that you are meant to shave your skin prior to use rather than pluck, wax, or use a chemical treatment. You need the hair root intact because that’s what this targets. You need to use this regularly over a long period of time, so it’s hard for me to really say anything about the results at this point. If it does end up being effective, I’ll be able to pass this along to my child who is very uninterested in having facial hair.

As I had just been using another device for the past few weeks, I had my sister try this one. She really loved it. She, like me, has rather light hair and sometimes it is difficult to remove since it's so fine. She said this device is super easy to use, maneuvers easily in her hands. She has been using it once a week on her legs and she said all of her hair is currently not growing back. She highly recommends this for all women.
