Padauk is one of the densest, most colour-rich hardwoods in the world. Its deep red-orange grain darkens gracefully with age, and its weight in the hand tells you immediately this is not veneer or MDF. Each bowl is turned from one solid piece and sanded to a smooth, warm finish — no two are exactly alike.

Two layers, not one
Most wooden coil burners give you a fireproof pad and nothing else. The coil burns directly on the cotton; ash bakes into the fibres; within weeks the pad is black and crusted and the burner looks tired.

Città adds a second layer: a removable honeycomb mesh in food-grade 304 stainless steel. The coil rests on the steel, never on the cotton. Ash drops through the open hexagon cells to the pad below, and the pad itself stays clean because nothing burns on it.

Cleaning takes ten seconds
Lift out the mesh. Tip the ash into the bin. Rinse the steel under the tap and wipe it dry. That's it. No scraping burnt residue off cotton, no ash marks on the wood.

Fits every coil you own
Inner diameter 7.6 cm — room for Città 2H and 4H oud coils and any standard coil incense up to 7 cm. The coil lies perfectly flat on the mesh for an even, complete burn from the outer tip to the centre. The tray also holds incense sticks and cones.

Safe on any surface
Steel mesh over fireproof cotton isolates heat from both the wood and the table beneath. The low, wide profile (9.5 × 2.5 cm) keeps it stable on a sofa-side table, a windowsill or a bedside.

Care
Empty ash after each use. Rinse the steel mesh with water; dry before replacing. Wipe the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth — do not soak. Replace the cotton pad if it wears (any 7.5 cm round fireproof pad fits).

Does the coil touch the cotton pad?
No. The coil sits on the steel mesh; the pad is only there as a heat barrier underneath.

Will the wood burn or scorch?
No. The steel mesh and fireproof pad keep the burning coil away from the wood. The bowl stays cool enough to pick up.

Does it fit the Città 4H coil?
Yes. The 4H single coil is about 6.5 cm; the inner diameter is 7.6 cm.

Can I use it for mosquito coils?
Yes — any coil up to 7 cm diameter.
